This page lists the cookies and similar browser storage that Apex Flow Pets uses, and what you can change.
Essential (always on)
- apx_cart: a first-party cookie holding the ID of your Shopify cart so it is still there when you come back. Secure, not readable by scripts, kept up to 1 year.
- apx_cart_qty: a first-party cookie with the number of items in your cart, so the header can show the count. Kept up to 1 year.
- Local storage: your cookie choice (
apx-cookie-choice) and, in some views of the store, a copy of your cart lines (apex-cart:…) so they survive a page refresh.
These are strictly necessary to run a shopping cart and to remember your choice, so they are not blocked by the banner.
Optional (off until you accept)
- Apex Flow arcade widget: a script loaded from www.apexflowlabs.com that adds a small Play button. It may store a score or ID on your device.
- Live family directory: the “Explore the Apex Flow family” list in the footer refreshes itself from www.apexflowlabs.com. Without your OK it shows the saved list and makes no request.
- Social posts: the “From our accounts” strip can show posts and thumbnail images from our own social accounts, which are loaded from those platforms’ servers.
We run no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies of our own. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a decline.
At checkout
When you click checkout you leave this website. Shopify’s checkout sets its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control. See Privacy Policy.
Change your choice
You can also clear cookies in your browser settings; your cart will be emptied.
