Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026. Apex Flow Labs LLC, Galt, California, United States.
This policy explains what Apex Flow Pets (“we”, “us”) collects when you browse this website and buy from it, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. Apex Flow Pets is a store run by Apex Flow Labs LLC of Galt, California. We try to collect as little as we need.
How the store works, in plain terms
This website is a storefront. It shows products and keeps your cart. When you press checkout you are sent to Shopify’s secure checkout page, where you enter your name, address, email and payment details. Those details are collected by Shopify, not typed into this website. Shopify shares your order with us so we can fulfil it.
What we collect
- Cart information. When you add something to your cart, a cart is created with Shopify and a cookie on your device remembers it (see the Cookie Policy). It holds the items you chose, not your name or payment details.
- What you search for. The words you type in the search box are sent to our server to show you results. We do not build a profile from them.
- Technical data that our hosting provider logs automatically when you load a page: IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and times. It is used for security, reliability and fixing errors.
- Order and checkout data collected by Shopify and passed to us: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number if you give one, the items ordered, and whether payment succeeded. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us, such as emails to info@apexflowlabs.com, including anything you choose to tell us. Please do not send medical or other sensitive details we do not need.
We do not run advertising pixels, analytics trackers or session-recording tools on this website. We do not have user accounts, comments, or reviews on this website, and there are no forms on it that collect your name or email.
How we use it
- To show products, keep your cart, and let you check out.
- To process, ship and support your order, including emails about it (confirmation, tracking, delivery problems) and handling returns and refunds.
- To keep the website secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix errors.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.
- For marketing email, only if you opt in at checkout; every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and you can also email us to stop. We still send order-related emails.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Who else handles your data
- Vercel: website hosting and server logs.
- Shopify: product catalog, carts, secure checkout, payment processing and order records.
- Suppliers, fulfilment partners and carriers: they receive what they need to deliver your order (your name, shipping address and, where a carrier requires it, phone number or email), and order-automation software that passes orders to them.
- Other Apex Flow Labs sites (www.apexflowlabs.com): optional content, only if you accept it in the cookie banner.
These providers may process data only to do their job for us, apart from Shopify, which is described next. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety, or in a sale of the business.
Shopify and targeted advertising
Checkout, payments and order records are run by Shopify under Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy. Shopify may use information from checkout for its own purposes, including fraud prevention and, depending on where you live, personalized advertising with third parties based on your activity across different merchants. You can opt out of that data sharing at Shopify’s data-sharing opt-out page for this store, and you can exercise Shopify privacy rights at privacy.shopify.com. Shopify’s checkout page also has its own privacy and refund links.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential storage keeps your cart working. Anything optional (embedded content from other Apex Flow Labs sites) stays off unless you accept it in the cookie banner. We treat the Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a decline. See the Cookie Policy.
Your privacy rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, or opt out of any sale or sharing (we do none). California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and residents of other states may have similar rights; we offer the same requests to everyone in the United States. We will not treat you worse for making a request.
To make a request, use the privacy request page or email info@apexflowlabs.com. We may need to confirm it is you (for example by matching your order email), and we respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority. If we deny a request you can appeal by replying to our answer, and you may also contact your state attorney general.
In the last 12 months we have collected these categories: identifiers (name, address, email, phone, IP address) and commercial information (items ordered) from you or from Shopify; internet activity (pages viewed, search terms) from your browser; and the content of messages you send us. We disclosed them for business purposes to the providers listed above. We did not sell or share any for advertising. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting, warranty and dispute purposes (generally several years). Server logs are kept for the period our hosting provider retains them. We delete other data on request unless the law requires us to keep it.
Pet cameras and other connected products
If you buy a pet camera or other connected product, the video, audio and account data it records are collected by the manufacturer’s app and cloud service under their privacy terms, not by us. We never receive that footage. You are responsible for how you use any camera or microphone, including telling people who may be recorded.
Tools that run in your browser
The Harness Fit Engine takes two measurements and runs in your browser. Nothing you select in them is sent to us or stored by us.
Children
This website is for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 for sale of data, which we do not do). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The website runs over HTTPS and payment details are handled by Shopify, not by us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes and contact
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
