Foam Pet Stairs

A dense foam staircase that sits flush against a bed, sofa, or armchair so a small dog or cat can climb instead of jump. The gentle slope and firm foam give steady footing, which matters most for small breeds, older pets, and anyone recovering from a procedure.

Size we stock

One size: 40 cm wide, 40 cm deep, 30 cm high (about 15.7 by 15.7 by 11.8 inches), gray. Measure from the floor to the top of the mattress or cushion, not the frame. These stairs suit furniture up to about 13 inches. For a standard bed at 20 to 25 inches they are too short, and we would rather say so than sell you a step your pet still has to jump from.

Key features

• Sits flush against furniture, no gap to slip into.
• High-density foam holds its shape under weight.
• Low-angle slope, gentler than jumping.
• Removable washable cover, bonded fleece.
• Non-slip base.

Getting your pet to use them

Most pets do not take to stairs immediately. Place them flush, lure up and down with a treat a few times a day, and let your pet get used to the surface before expecting independent use.

Product truth

• Does: reduce jumping impact for a small pet getting onto low furniture.
• Does not: treat arthritis, hip dysplasia, or any joint condition, and does not reach a standard-height bed. A pet that is limping or reluctant to move needs a veterinarian, not stairs.
• Ships: Domestic delivery only, free over $50, 4 to 10 business days after processing.
• Returns: 30 days, unused, in original packaging.
